Feedback Reflux Lite, 2009. Painted and chrome-plated steel, acrylic with print, height indicator strips, mirror, 84″ x 132″ x 100″
The black lines on the “leg” of this sculpture are height indicator strips, the security stickers commonly found on the doorjambs of convenience stores and banks.
At the center of each chrome-plated “basket” is an acrylic disc that has been printed with an image. These images are illustrations of feline digestive tracts, scanned off of cat food bags.
Feedback Reflux Lite was first shown in Science Diet, a solo exhibition at Fourteen30 Contemporary in Portland, OR, 2009.
